Keeping choices simple
Our 3 simple examples are aimed at single person businesses such as Lawn Mowing, Electricians, Hairdressers, Painters etc through to small companies typically with up to 3 to 6 staff. These can be anything from Accountants to Auto Workshops.
The difference between each option is subtle to minimise the stress of 'too much choice'! Each has been laid out to do the basic job of what a website needs to do. Our own site Simple Websites NZ is built using the same template.
A chosen option will be colour matched to your logo / branding and feature a hero image on the homepage representing your business.
Option 1
Would suit a small business with typically 3 to 6 employees.
In this design the main phone number remains in the header on both desktop and mobile versions. The gallery is optional and would typically be set to 15 photos. If a gallery is not required the page can be removed.
There are 3 services show which can easily be increased or decreased in number. The contact page can have a Google Map location embeded, assuming the business has a physical location.
Each staff member can have their own photo, summary bio and contact details. Email addresses are obfuscated with javascript to minimise the chance of them being added to spam lists.
The social links in the footer are optional and can be removed or changed.
Option 2
Essentially the same as Option 1 and aimed at similar sized businesses except the header is laid out differently. The menu is set in line with the logo to reduce the overall height of the header and primary phone number has been removed.
As with Option 1 there is flexibility in having or not having an image gallery and changing the number of services or team members.
Option 3
Option 3 illustrates an example of a one-person business with colours that would set to suit a mobile lawn mowing service. Colours can be entirely different - for example blue based for a swimming pool cleaning service.
The header includes the phone number, but it doesn't have to. A second person can be added if needed. Underneath these templates, all created by us in-house, the coding is the same so they all have a degree of flexibility around what you see.
